Tyson Fury: Joshua doesn’t have the guts to be champion
WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson’s Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) commented on the cancellation of the fight against Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).
“I was so sure Joshua would sign the contract that I even bet 10,000 but he didn’t. I’m not going to wait for someone to throw a bone. Joshua doesn’t look like a true champion. It lacks eggs for it.
If you are responsible and persistent, if you are the leader of your team, then tell your employees that war will happen. Of course if you really want it. If not, you’ll find a million excuses not to fight.
On the other hand, perhaps it was good that everything was as it was. It’s hard to imagine how much fuss Joshua will make with his lawyers. Today is no longer important, because everything is in the past. I’m already fighting another man,” said Fury.
Tyson will face Derek Chisora after that. The match will be played on 3 December at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
