The WBC heavyweight champion Briton Tyson Fury once again spoke skeptically about the WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA champion Oleksandr Usyk. According to Fury, the Ukrainian cannot be considered a favorite in this weight category.
– Who is Usyk? People didn’t know his name until he beat a bodybuilder the other day. He was a small, small heavyweight. But then he stepped up and beat a big bodybuilder (Anthony Joshua) and now all of a sudden he’s a killer. I don’t think so,” Fury quotes BoxingScene.
Previously, Fury was trying to negotiate a fight with Usyk at the end of this year. However, the Ukrainian expects to return to the ring in the first quarter of 2023.
