The Canadian of Indian origin suggested repeating the story from 2018, when the UFC and ONE made an exchange: the legendary “flyer” Demetrius Johnson then went to the Asian promotion, and the then most popular welterweight Ben Askren moved to the American one.

Arzhan, whose base is freestyle wrestling, moved to the Absolute Fighting Championship in 2017 and in two years won three victories with one defeat. Despite a positive record in the UFC, the promotion management decided not to renew the contract with Bullar, probably due to the unspectacular fighting style of the Canadian.

After leaving the UFC, Arzhan signed up for the Asian ONE Championship, in which he took the championship belt in his second fight, knocking out Brandon Vera. It is possible that Bullar’s army of fans has really grown after winning the title in Asia, but this is unlikely to be of any interest to UFC leaders. Making the exchange of Johnson for Askren in 2018, the Americans killed two birds with one stone: they got rid of the unpopular Demetrius and got the famous trash talker Askren, and undefeated one at that.

Now, giving away one of the most competitive UFC fighters in exchange for a boring 36-year-old fighter, hardly able to compete with heavyweight monsters, the American promotion will decide only in Bullar’s dreams. He probably decided to just PR on a loud rumor.
