AMC Fight Nights fighter Alexander Grebnev believes that Khabib Nurmagomedov would have won a landslide victory in a face-to-face confrontation with Charles Oliveira.

On October 22, Oliveira lost via choke to Russian Islam Makhachev in a title fight at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi.

– Personally, it seems to me that Nurmagomedov would have walked even harder on Oliveira than Makhachev. First of all, due to physical strength. In this regard, they are no match. Oliveira is good in battles with those whose muscle fibers are not adapted for BJJ. Khabib is much more powerful. Even if he hadn’t managed to strangle Charles, he would have scored on the ground, RT quotes Grebnev.

The fighter also told who he considers the most uncomfortable opponent for Khabib.

– I confess, before I myself considered Tony Ferguson an uncomfortable opponent for Nurmagomedov. But after the fight with Gaethje, my opinion changed. It would be an unequal fight. As in the case of Charles,” Grebnev added.
