The fight of the Russian at the UFC tournament was canceled without disclosing the reasons

The fight between Russian mixed martial arts fighter Maxim Grishin and Brazilian Gilton Almeida at UFC Fight Night 214 will not take place, according to MMA Fighting.
Several people who were aware of the promotion’s plans have confirmed that the fight has been canceled for reasons not disclosed.
In his last fight to date, Grishin defeated American William Knight by unanimous decision. And with Almeida, he was supposed to fight back in May, but the fight did not take place even then.
The 38-year-old Russian has 32 victories in mixed martial arts, 9 losses and 2 draws. The 31-year-old Brazilian has won 17 MMA fights and lost twice.
UFC Fight Night 214 starts on the evening of November 5 in Las Vegas. The tournament will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Marina Rodriguez and Amanda Lemos. From 22:55 Moscow time, watch the tournament on “Match! Fighter”, from 02:00 Moscow time on November 6 – on Match TV.
