Gone at the age of Christ. Russian MMA fighter dies under strange circumstances

An unexpected death in the prime of life is always a tragedy. It was this sad news that today came from the world of mixed martial arts: an experienced fighter suddenly died at the age of 33.

The details of the death of the athlete that have appeared are quite contradictory. A tragic set of circumstances took the life of another representative of mixed martial arts.

“The standard of friendship, decency and courage”

Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Pisarev could not boast of a brilliant career in MMA. On account of the athlete, only five fights, in which he won three victories and suffered two defeats. He is known to fans of mixed martial arts primarily for his performances at ACB, RCC and Fight Nights tournaments.

At the amateur level, Alexander became the champion of Moscow in hand-to-hand combat and grappling. He also took part in the European MMA Championship, where he reached the final.

According to the well-known portal Sherdog, Alexander had his last fight in 2020. Then he lost in the first round to Maxim Usoyan by painful hold. Since then, the 33-year-old fighter has not appeared in the octagon.

On October 30, the head of the Tomahawk sports club, Magomed Kamilov, unexpectedly announced the death of a fighter on social networks.

My brother, my friend, my student! Words cannot express the extent of the loss. Alexander Pisarev is the standard of friendship, decency and courage of a Russian person. We and I will miss you! Rest in peace, our brother, – Kamilov’s words are quoted on the club’s social network.

Poisoning by unknown substances

Later it turned out that Pisarev died after gatherings with friends. After some time, the athlete began to complain of severe abdominal pain. And his wife experienced similar problems. The ambulance came to the spouses twice, but they failed to save Alexander. The doctors were only able to help the woman. This was reported by the Telegram channel 112.

The cause of death could not be determined on the spot. Initially, a version was put forward with poisoning by watermelon or unknown dried mushrooms, which they ate the day before during a feast. The preliminary diagnosis is the toxic effect of toxic substances contained in food products.

But studies conducted at the hospital showed that watermelon had nothing to do with it. In the analyzes of the fighter found traces of opioids. The exact substances from this group, which led to the death of Pisarev, will be known only in two to three weeks.

In the meantime, the MMA world is mourning and grieving the loss of a comrade who passed away under strange circumstances.
