Derek CISORA: “I took down Usyk but they didn’t count him”
Heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora has criticized the judges for his fight with Oleksandr Usyk in the fall of 2020. The 38-year-old Zimbabwe native remembered this fight in light of the upcoming fight with Tyson Fury.
As previously reported, Derek Chisora and Tyson Fury will set things straight in the ring on Dec.
“Honestly, I won the fight with Usyk. I won this fight. I sent him for a knockout, but he didn’t count for me. This problem. I hope there will be fair judges and referees in the fight on December 3rd.
I have a lot to do in this bootcamp. I don’t want people to be prejudiced. I wish they were open-minded and fair. I know I’m not going out to lie in the ring. And Fury won’t go out to lie down. I basically want justice,” Chisora said.
We recall that in the duel between Usyk and Chisora, the Ukrainian won unanimously. Usyk won twice against Anthony Joshua after his fight with Chisora and currently holds the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles.
