Haney’s father: “We are doing everything to fight Lomachenko”
Bill HaneyThe father and coach of undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (29-0.15 KOs) said he is confident all sides are interested in continuing the fight against Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs).
Team Lomachenko informed us that they are ready to do everything right to make this fight happen. Bob Arum, for his part, does everything to organize this fight. We have all the support you need, including ESPN. That’s why I’m optimistic.
We all work as a team. I mean the Top Rank team, as well as Vasily Lomachenko and Devin Haney. We will do our best to make fans see this exciting event. This is a good fight for both young people. I’m happy to be a part of this,” said Haney Sr.
On the night of 29-30 October in New York, Vasily Lomachenko defeated the USA’s Jemaine Ortiz by points.
