Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk said he would like to meet Briton Tyson Fury next year.

In August, Usyk defeated British Anthony Joshua and retained the IBO, IBF, WBO and WBA Super heavyweight titles.

– The idea is to have a fight, maybe at the beginning of February or at the beginning of March, for example, on March 4, because I am an Orthodox Christian. During Lent before Easter, I will not fight, so everything should be before or after Orthodox Easter (April 16).

Organizers are trying to figure out where they can make more money. As for me, yes, I would really like to fight in Ukraine. The country is really capable of organizing such a fight. I would be very happy if this happened at the Olympic Stadium. But it’s not me who chooses the venue, so I think that (this time) it will be Saudi Arabia.

In the professional ring, 35-year-old Usyk won 20 victories (13 by knockout) in 13 fights.

Fury knocked out compatriot Dillian Whyte in his last fight in April. The 34-year-old Briton has 32 wins and one draw.
