Fights
Emelianenko threatens to pile on Dziuba. But such an Alexander will be beaten by a football player?
A famous fighter wants to take revenge on the attacker on behalf of all the fans of the Russian team. Who is next – a ballet dancer?
The famous Russian fighter Alexander Emelianenko, after a heavy knockout from Vyacheslav Datsik, seems to have begun to completely lose touch with reality. If earlier the younger brother of the legendary Fedor went to battle with the powerful weightlifter Mikhail Koklyaev and seriously discussed the fight against the rapper with the kickboxing experience of Dzhigan, now Alexander’s undertakings are both funny and sad.
Emelianenko supported the idea of a fight with … Artem Dziuba! It is hard to imagine that a Russian footballer would really agree to such a thing, however, Alexander clearly underestimates this “rival”.
Artem is able to surprise everyone!
“If they offer a fight with him, I will agree”
The frank degradation of Emelianenko, which began after a heavy defeat from Magomed Ismailov in 2020, seems to have affected not only his fighting qualities, but also his mind. Alexander began to go into binges a long time ago, constantly running into problems with the law, but lately his addiction to alcohol has led the fighter to frankly dubious undertakings.
More recently, Emelianenko Jr. went to freak fights with the famous strongman Mikhail Koklyaev, lightweight fighter Artem Tarasov (he defeated both) and agreed to a fight with rapper Dzhigan, master of sports of Ukraine in kickboxing. Now, after a heavy knockout in a fight with Vyacheslav Datsik, the 41-year-old fighter supported the idea of promoter Vladimir Khryunov about his fight with the former Zenit forward and the Russian national team Artem Dzyuba!
– He has a great opportunity to challenge me to a fight and somehow prove himself in boxing. He needs to come out against me to fight in a different way than everyone usually fights – stand, hope to throw some punch. Dziuba needs to sit on his feet and work with his feet. Put on gloves and work.
Dziuba has absolutely no chance – it’s like I’ll go out and play football against him. I will fill the ball, try to circle it. But if they offer a fight with him, I will agree: the popularization of sports, a healthy lifestyle. Well, for all the fans who believed in the players, but they did not live up to expectations – he will get a good uppercut, ”Emelianenko said on his Youtube channel.
Probably, the news about the breaking of the contract with Adana Demirspor led Alexander to the idea that on an unplanned vacation, Artem would suddenly want to wave his hands in gloves. Nevertheless, the fighting world of Dzyube is really not alien.
Artem is familiar with MMA
Footballer Dziuba, in fact, is not so far from the world of mixed martial arts. In 2018, Artem sparred not with anyone, but with one of the best heavyweights in the world – UFC fighter Alexander Volkov. Of course, then Drago frankly succumbed to Dzyuba, although visually the sparring was not of a comic nature – the footballer really invested in strikes. Artem showed that he was capable of giving some semblance of a fight.
Yes, it is as hard as possible to imagine that Dzyuba will agree to enter the ring against Emelianenko. It is unlikely that Artyom is interested in such frankly freaky events. The very idea of such a fight looks awkward and comical, but Emelianenko’s serious reasoning about the fight with Dzyuba and the fighter’s statements about the football player’s zero chances involuntarily force us to imagine such an “event”. And first of all, Alexander overestimates himself.
Artem is taller than Emelianenko and younger than him by 7 years, it’s not worth talking about the difference in endurance. In recent years, according to Alexander’s performances in professional fights, violations in his coordination are clearly visible – long binges affected primarily the fighter’s brain. Of course, the experience and skills of Emelianenko have not gone away, but purely hypothetically, Dziuba is able to fight Alexander with the right plan and attitude.
Nevertheless, I really want to believe in the adequacy of Artem. And we just have to wait, who will Alexander Emelianenko challenge next: a hockey player, tennis player, or maybe a ballet dancer?
