Everything was ready for Usyk-Fury in December. why did everything fall apart
Alexander Krasyuk, promoter of boxer Alexander Usik, said in December that he had every chance to fight Tyson Fury, but the fight with Anthony Joshua was too late.
“Before the second fight with Joshua, we were negotiating with Saudi Arabia and in December we agreed with Tyson Fury that they would fight for all belts. We signed it, everyone agreed. But since the fight with Joshua came a month later than planned, it ruined all the preparation and recovery programs.
“And it was our initiative to postpone the fight with Fury from December to February. On the other hand, as far as I know, it was important for Fury to return to the ring and fight before Usyk. He believes it will give him confidence,” said Krasyuk.
Fury will face Derek Chisora on December 3. Earlier, Usyk has said that he is only interested in fighting Tyson Fury and winning his fourth heavyweight belt.
