MMA fighter Vasilevsky estimated Dzyuba’s chances in a possible fight with Alexander Emelianenko
Football player Artem Dzyuba will not be able to compete with Alexander Emelianenko in the octagon, according to Russian mixed style fighter Vyacheslav Vasilevsky.
Earlier, promoter Alexander Khryunov announced his readiness to organize a fight between athletes. Emelianenko said that he would agree to a duel, but added that Dzyuba had no chances in such a meeting.
– What is interesting about this fight? How will a football player fight a fighter? I can’t imagine this if we are talking about a real fight according to the rules of MMA or boxing. I think there will be no this fight by 99.9%.
What can Artem do? I don’t see any intrigue in this. It is clear that the fighter will win. It’s the same if Dziuba called the same Emelianenko or another athlete to play football one on one, where, naturally, Dziuba would win, Vasilevsky told Sport24.
Emelianenko had his last MMA fight in November 2021, when he lost to Marcio Santos. In total, in mixed martial arts, the 41-year-old fighter won 28 victories, suffered 9 defeats, and ended one fight in a draw.

Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov posted a photo on his social network page with Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic and UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev.
On Sunday, Nurmagomedov took part in the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony in Dubai. The Russian awarded Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba, who won the Comeback of the Year category. Djokovic was named athlete of the year.
“With the best athletes in the world,” Nurmagomedov signed the photo.
The Globe Soccer Awards were created by the European Club Association and the European Association of Football Agents.
