The Russians won three gold medals at the start of the World SAMBO Championships

Russian sambo wrestlers won three gold medals at the start of the World Championship, which is taking place in Bishkek.
Svetlana Uvarova won gold in the weight category up to 59 kg, Sayan Khertek won in the weight category up to 58 kg. Viktor Nemkov, former champion of M-1 Challenge, became the winner of the combat sambo tournament in the category up to 98 kg.
Also on the first day of the tournament, Ekaterina Syshchikova (up to 54) won silver, Ekaterina Khasanova (up to 50 kg) and Ivan Lozhkin (up to 79 kg, combat sambo) won bronze.
Russian athletes compete at the World Championships in a neutral status under the flag of the International SAMBO Federation (FIAS).

Ring V boxing night will take place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the main event of which will be the fight for the title of absolute world champion Naoya Inoue – Alan David Picasso.
Boxing night will take place on Saturday, December 27 at Mohammed Abdo Aren.
In the second most important fight, representatives of the second bantamweight (up to 55.3 kg) will compete – the former world champion Japanese will meet in the ring Junto Nakatani (31-0, 24 KOs) and undefeated Mexican Sebastian Hernandez (20-0, 18 knockouts).

Junto will be making his first fight in a new weight class after leaving the division title vacant in the division below. If he wins, the Japanese will meet his compatriot Naoya Inoue next year.
The broadcast of the main card of the show in Riyadh will start at 11:00 am. Nakatani and Hernandez will enter the ring around 13:00 Kyiv time.

Former Swedish national team player, advisor to the company that owns Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, posted a photo with ex-UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba.
“The good, the bad and the ugly,” Ibrahimovic captioned the photo on social networks.
Khabib Nurmagomedov had 29 fights in MMA and won 29 victories. He retired in 2020 as the UFC lightweight champion.
Pogba was suspended for four years for doping violations, but the athlete’s period of ineligibility was reduced to 18 months and expired on March 10, 2025. On June 29, the footballer signed a two-year contract with Monaco as a free agent.
