After cricket, bodybuilding and acting, Martin Ford is ready to prove his boxing skills and so he follows a strict diet to face the so-called “Iranian Hulk” in the ring.

In the opinion of many, Martin Ford, who has hitherto dabbled in cricket, bodybuilding and acting, is a marvel of nature in terms of his tremendous physical strength, to the point where he has won the title of ‘The Scariest Man Alive’ . . .

However, he is unwilling to set limits for himself and looks for new challenges, the latter putting him ahead of them in the ring. Because he is preparing for his debut as a boxer, which will take place on April 2nd at the O2 Arena against the “Iranian Hulk”, whose real name is Sayyad Garibi.

The pair had planned to compete as part of their Martial Arts (MMA) fight in 2018, but Garibi didn’t follow in his opponent’s footsteps to enter the cage and the two were now preparing for a boxing match.

Ford weighed 150 kilograms before he began gradually losing weight to face Gariby, with the former actor explaining that he has reduced the calories in his daily diet from 8,000 to 4,500.

“I went from 8,000 calories a day to 5,000 and gradually lower. Now I’m at 4,500. I haven’t counted calories in six months. I only eat an appetizer when I’m hungry. The only drastic change I’ve made is my dietary balance.

When I gained a lot of weight, my diet consisted of fats and proteins. In contrast, today 60 to 70 percent of the diet consists of carbohydrates.

I am sure that I will achieve the best possible result after this diet”, he characteristically told the Mirror given the fight he’s been waiting for.
