Tyson Fury: I can’t finish my career without fighting Joshua
Boxer Tyson Fury, who has previously announced his retirement but is returning to the sport, is confident he has to fight his compatriot Anthony Joshua.
“I can’t retire anymore because I need this fight with Joshua. We’ve been trying to organize this fight for years. The fans want to see this fight and as a boxing fan I want to see a fight like that.”
“Now a lot of new boxers have appeared in the heavyweight division – Dubois, Joyce, the same Usyk took this vacation.”
“But it would be crazy if Joshua and I didn’t fight each other,” said Fury.
In the fall, the parties discussed the Fury-Joshua fight but eventually couldn’t agree, so Fury will take on Derek Chisora in December.
