Tyson Fury on Usyk: ‘Don’t mind that sausage’
WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson’s Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) explained why it would be so easy for him to beat WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).
“I have no interest in this scumbag. No charisma, no personality. He beat a bodybuilder and created a certain authority for him.
People say I always call him middleweight. But there is truth behind these conversations. I competed in this division from the age of 12 when I was an amateur heavyweight. When I fought at heavyweight, he was a middleweight. When I was a kid at 115-116 kilos, he lost to fighters like Sean Porter at 75 kilos. That’s why I call him middleweight.
No middleweight born from his mother would even challenge me. Don’t mind this sausage. I can’t wait for the fight. But after I beat him, I don’t want to hear excuses,” Fury said in an interview with YouTube channel BT Sport Boxing.
