George Kambosos: Activate the bomb with Lomachenko

According to ESPN, George Kambosos is close to finishing a fight with Lomachenko despite eyeing Devin Haney’s case.

According to today’s ESPN article, George Kambosos will make his first title defense in Australia. The Greek expatriate will play at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on June 5. His opponent will most likely be Vasyl Lomachenko as both sides have agreed on two games in case Kambosos loses.

Kambosos is yet to sign as he deals with Devin Haney’s case. If Kambosos lands at Lomachenko, the TV coverage will be handled by ESPN.

The stadium where the race will be held has a seating capacity of 53,000. Recall that Kamboso’s defeated Teofimo Lopez by majority decision last November and ESPN awarded him the title of Surprise of the Year. Lopez went 10-1 as the favorite to win.

Kambosos managed to conquer four world zones. He had a knockdown in his favor in the first round while managing to survive Lopez in the tenth.

FURY picks the winner of the Usyk-Wilder fight: “He has no chance”

Father of former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury John He spoke harshly about a possible fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder.

“Of course anything can happen in boxing. But Wilder vs. Usyk? Deontay has no chance. I wouldn’t want to see this fight. There are much better opponents. Does Usyk want to fight Wardley? I say no because he knows the danger. Does he want to fight Kabael? I say no. They know the odds. They are getting older and these young guys can beat anyone,” said Fury.

Previously, star British heavyweight Moses Itauma had talked about a possible fight against WBA, WBC and IBF world champion Alexander Usyk. The young boxer noted the Ukrainian’s age and his path to the heavyweight league.
