Gasanov is more versatile and stronger than UFC champion Pereira, says MMA fighter Makhno
Russian MMA fighter Alexei Makhno believes that ACA middleweight champion Magomedrasul Gasanov can defeat UFC belt holder Alex Pereira.
– Hasanov is stronger than Pereira. It is at least more versatile. Magomedrasul will not let himself be beaten, as Adesanya did. Gasanov with his level of struggle is like Muslim Magomedov, Alikhan Suleymanov or Magomedrasul Khasbulaev. They choose how the fight will take place – standing or lying down. Pereira is definitely dangerous as hell, but will he be that dangerous on the floor? I think no. And Gasanov is dangerous both in the standing position and on the floor, – Metaratings quotes Makhno.
Gasanov became the ACA champion by defeating Abdul-Rahman Dzhanaev. He also defended the title by defeating Artem Frolov. Alex Pereira became UFC champion in November 2022 by knocking out Nigerian Israel Adesanya.
