Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov believes that Russian Anatoly Malykhin will be stronger than Dutchman Renier de Ridder in the stand in their head-to-head fight.

Malykhin’s fight with ONE Championship light heavyweight champion (the limit in this league is up to 102 kg) de Ridder will take place in Manila on December 2. The 34-year-old Malykhin has 10 early victories in MMA.

– The last time I boxed with him was a few years ago, when he was still training in Russia. He came to us in Stary Oskol. In those days, it was very difficult to fight him, but it was easier in percussion technique. Now Anatoly has improved a lot in shooting and is also fighting very well, so I think he will beat Renier De Ridder in the standing position. In wrestling, De Ridder has no chance. He simply will not transfer Malykhin to the ground, – Nemkov quotes the words “Sport Day after Day”.
