Rapper Basta wants to organize a boxing rematch between Bivol and Canelo

Musician Vasily Vakulenko, known as Basta, admitted that he wants to organize a return fight between Dmitry Bivol and Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

The boxers met in the ring in May, Bivol won by unanimous decision and defended the WBA Super light heavyweight title.

– Basta promoter – everything? Or should we wait for Gazfight 2?

– We will definitely do it as soon as we find the money in order to hold not fraudulent nonsense, but a really worthy tournament that would correspond to the first one. Including the quality of the picture, and the quality of the battles. For us, the main thing is not quantity, but quality. The Gazfight fighters, together with the fighters of Andryukha Bupas (coach – Ed.), constantly take part in competitions and show themselves worthy. So it’s better to do something small, but of high quality, that makes sense. And not to exchange for nonsense, which will leave nothing behind, – Vakulenko is quoted by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
