Tyson Fury – Derek Chisora3. Prediction and announcement for the fight
On December 3, Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) will hold a rematch against Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) at Tottenham Arena in England. Even a rematch because Derek lost his previous two fights to Tyson. It’s the fight the reigning WBC champion once talked about, but almost the least anticipated. Because nobody expects it.
But Fury decided to close the gap this way – a duel against an opponent who is already about to retire and with whom he had two first encounters, which is far from interesting.
Fury said he wanted to fight Usyk. However, Alexander postponed the meeting to the winter of 2023, and Tyson went to Chisora.
In August 2022, Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua held a second meeting. Ukraine won. It turned out to be much more difficult, but with so many additional options applied to both fighters that none of the results would be surprising.
Usyk took almost the maximum out of himself, but won the victory. And after the fight, he said he would either box against Fury now or not box at all. At that time, Tyson had already announced that he was retiring and would never appear in the ring. However, he is officially recognized as the WBC champion for now, although the World Boxing Council has prepared a farewell ceremony for him. Or he declared that he was prepared.
Tyson said he was ready, but he started putting in so many conditions that everyone got a headache. The main thing was that he wanted to box in December. So, Usyk’s recovery and retraining should have taken almost a few days. And this is no joke. Alexander spent a very long camp in front of Joshua, moved, survived the beginning of the war in Ukraine. He organized a camp abroad – more difficult and expensive. All this took a lot of time.
Same story, but he shouldn’t have taken much less against Fury because this is a completely different boxer. You need other sparring partners, a gym and lots of details. You also need to recover, gain strength and motivation after training camp. Get rid of minor injuries that are always there. And in addition to all this – the war continues, and Alexander continues to go to the army, raise money for them and help the victims. In general, the British plan is absolutely unrealistic.
Of course, Fury understood that. And whether he can dictate conditions with a belt in hand is a big question. Still, now the duel is sold for two. Of course, Tyson wouldn’t have been him if he hadn’t made a mess. Stories about a Ukrainian who ran away from him and everything in this style are very original and not very funny.
Among the contenders for the fight, several names were mentioned while Fury was waiting for Usyk, but in the end, a rather unexpected one surfaced. Derek Chisora, who also managed to retire during this time, said that he was boxing and was fed up.
In fact, Tyson has been talking about a trilogy for a long time. For some reason, it sunk in either his heart or his head, but the Briton was confident he needed to add a third fight against Derek among other fights to retire with a clear conscience. This is despite the fact that the first two fights are far from the words “interesting” or “brilliant”.
The boxers first met in 2011. Both are street. Tyson’s record is 14-0, Derek’s record is exactly the same. But there was no explosive conflict.
Chisora mindlessly stepped forward and nothing worked. Fury worked on the waste, knitting the opponent too hard and knocking him down thanks to his bulk. Sad, boring, forgotten.
The second fight took place three years later. At that moment, Chisora was experiencing her first comeback period after defeats. He already got it from both Klitschko and Haye. Then he won a few others—including Malik Scott, who now coaches Wilder. And he went out for revenge.
Was it better? Number. Good thing it was less. Chisora was terribly prepared, panting loudly and moving very little. The fury was the same, but it created even more trouble for his opponent. Between the tenth and eleventh rounds, the corner did not release the already exhausted Derek.
Who is your favourite?
Tyson Fury is a favorite for logic and bookie quotes. For 1.05 you can bet on the WBC champion. For the competitor – for 10. Here is such a contender for failure of the year from Tyson.
In fact, they hardly got any rest despite their retirement stories. Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte in the sixth round only in April 2022. Derek boxed even less – in July of this year he hit all twelve rounds of Kubrat Pulev.
Such a pension, from which they parted almost instantly.
Derek looked good in the last fights. It was great against Usyk, but everything was great here too. He went forward, punched, struck with both hands. It created danger. Even though he is 38 years old, he is handsome. At least there is hope that Derek will be prepared for this fight.
Anger is also good. He literally destroyed White. He did not give the opponent a chance, he knocked down with an uppercut – bravo. Good boxing, no matter what anyone says. Tyson found his style, learned to use size, and that’s everybody’s problem. Even for Chisora.
There is great hope that the men will wrestle less and box more this time around. And if you fight, then actively and with blows. They both found out about it and seem fine now. It used to be fear.
The current Chisora and Fury can show off. potentially. And again they can make a fuss – it is quite real. It all depends on the mood and readiness of both. However, the former is more likely. Tyson will want to scare everyone, including Usyk. And Chisora - finally get high in boxing. Why not make it fun?
Is this a preparation for Usyk? No way. So, which one from Derek Alexander? But the option not to be idle is normal. And if they give their all in the ring, that will be interesting too.
Tyson Fury fight – Derek Chisora will take place in London on Saturday, December 3rd. The fight will temporarily begin at 23:55 Kyiv time.

Wilder made a bold statement ahead of his title fight with Usyk
Former world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg), American Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) shared his expectations for the upcoming fight against WBC, WBA and IBF titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs).
“You know my next opponent. Usyk challenged me to a fight. He said he wanted to meet me in the ring. I accepted the challenge. “I push horses” and “I feel it, I feel it hard.”
What’s my plan? Be smart, be faster, use my agility, be tough, get in the ring and knock him out. I am known for my strength, I need to show it. “I’ve been through a tough journey in my life, but I’m back and ready to beat Usyk,” Wilder said.
The American had 49 fights in the professional ring and won 44 victories (43 of them ahead of schedule). In June, Wilder knocked out his compatriot Tyrell Herndon, ending his two defeats in 2023 and 2024.
Usyk last appeared in the ring in July, when he stopped Briton Daniel Dubois. The Ukrainian became the absolute world champion but lost a title by refusing to defend his WBO belt in October.
