Olimpbet raffles off tickets for the Rugby-Tarasov fight
On December 16, Moscow’s Vegas City Hall will host the loudest fight of the year in fisticuffs. The main event of Top Dog 18 will be the fight between Rugby player and Artyom Tarasov.
Fans have been waiting for this fight since 2019. Three years ago, Rugby player and Tarasov exchanged mutual insults and almost agreed on a duel, but in the end they never met. In 2021, the fighters again publicly quarreled and were going to fight with their bare fists, but did not agree on the amount of fees. Finally, on November 5, 2022, at Top Dog 17, Rugby player slapped Tarasov in the face, and the next day they officially announced the fight.

Famous British organizer Frank Warren He commented on the situation around the world heavyweight champion according to WBC, WBA and IBF Alexandra Usika.
“We’ll see what happens with Oleksandr Usyk. He’s only fought once this year, which has had a negative impact on his high-level title fights. He needs to defend his belts next year. If he doesn’t do that, he’ll have to give up his titles,” Warren said.

Absolute world champion in the second lightweight category Naoya Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) commented on the victory of the fight played on Saturday, December 27th.
In Saudi Arabia, the Japanese representative defeated Mexican Alan David Picasso by unanimous decision and defended his WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF titles.
After the final bell, the reporter asked Inoue whether he should take the first place in the ranking of the world’s strongest boxers, which is currently occupied by Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

The strongest boxers of our time – Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Japanese Naoya Inoue – We met in the ring of Mohammed Abdo Aren in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on December 27th.
On this day, a boxing night took place, the main event of which was the fight in the weight category up to 55.3 kg. WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF world champion Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) defeated his Mexican opponent Alan David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs).
The fight continued for all 12 rounds and ended with a confident victory for the Japanese “Beast” by unanimous decision.
After the final gong, Usik approached the champion in the ring, congratulated him on his victory and shook hands. Inoue admitted that he was not 100% satisfied with his performance and appreciated the Ukrainian’s place in the ranking of the strongest boxers of our time.
Next year, Usik plans to fight against former American champion Deontay Wilder, and Naoya is considering two options: Junto Nakatani or Jesse Rodriguez.
