The American overstrained himself in a battle with a Russian and earned two hernias.
The career of Alexander Emelianenko is coming to an end. It is not known how much longer the fighter will torment fans with fights with dubious characters, whose skill in the octagon raises big questions.
But his career has also had its ups and downs. What only fighters did not happen to defeat Alexander. Among them was Mike Tyson’s huge guard, who, after the fight with Emelianenko Jr., decided not to return to the ring again.
Mike Tyson bodyguard
In 2007, the Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko, as now, wandered around various organizations after the termination of performances in PRIDE. Nowhere did he stay for more than one duel.
In October, the athlete had an opportunity to compete in the new Canadian promotion Hardcore Championship Fighting (HCF), and he accepted this invitation. The rivals of Emelianenko Jr. identified the huge fighter Dan Bull Bobish. An American with a height of 185 cm weighed 149 kg. And most of this mass was in the muscles.
The sonorous nickname of the American fully reflected his style of fighting. In battles, he always rushed ahead, trying to take his opponents in a hurry. In many ways, his style strongly resembled that of Mike Tyson. The coincidence of approaches to the fights of athletes is not accidental. Dan helped the legendary boxer prepare during training camp. Bobish also worked as a bodyguard for Mike.
According to the American, he approached the confrontation with Emelianenko in excellent shape. Dan changed his approach to nutrition, and also paid a lot of attention to running exercises and cardio training. Alexander also highly appreciated the opponent’s level.
Bobish is a good opponent and an experienced fighter. Behind him are many fights in prestigious organizations. It has impressive dimensions and high speed.
“I came, I saw, I conquered”
The fight began with an American attack. Dan fully lived up to the nickname by running head first into Emelianenko like a bull. He tried to push a lighter opponent into the net. But Alexander competently broke the distance.
After that, Bobish made an attempt at his feet, but even here the Russian fighter was ready for such a development of events. Alexander took the opponent’s head and began to “choke” the opponent. But the hefty American did not want to give up. Dan even got to his feet, despite the resistance of Emelianenko, but he could not counterattack.
More than 30 seconds in the capture of Bobish could not hold out. After another effort of Alexander, he was forced to surrender to the mercy of the winner. As a result, the fight did not last even two minutes. The frustrated American did not even wait for the announcement of the results, leaving the octagon.
“I didn’t have time to feel in danger. I controlled everything and gave a report to everything. I came, I saw, I won, ”Emelianenko said after the fight.
It is not known whether Bobish knew then that this would be the last fight in his life, but Bull never returned to the cage. It’s all because of a spinal injury received in a battle with a Russian fighter. Two hernias forced Dan to hang up his gloves.

INOUE: “I’m tired. I had to prepare very hard for these 4 matches in a year.”
Japanese boxer after fight in Riyadh Naoya Inoue He shared his impressions of his victory over Mexican David Picasso (119–109, 120–108, 117–111):
“Honestly, I’m tired. The point wasn’t that I had four fights a year, it was that I had to prepare very hard for each of those four fights. When you’re in this process, you tolerate it because you only think about the fight, but now that it’s over, I see that I definitely gave it everything I had.”
“I don’t want to disrespect Picasso, but I wanted to show the difference between us a little more clearly and knock him out. I couldn’t meet the expectations and I couldn’t box the way I wanted. Nothing has been decided yet, but I would be happy to organize a fight that will excite the whole of Japan.”
Japanese Junto Nakatani He talked about his victory over Sebastian Hernandez (118-110, 115-113, 115-113):
