Emelianenko does not hesitate to beat even elderly actors. Dzhigurda suits him as a father!

Such ridiculous fights in the career of Alexander, perhaps, have not yet been.

Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko plunges deeper into the freak show with each fight. The longer the famous athlete’s career continues, the more questions the choice of his opponents raises.

After the shameful loss to the blogger, Alexander had an even more dubious option. Emelianenko Jr. wanted to enter the ring against an elderly actor with a scandalous reputation.

Defeats from a freak and a blogger

Emelianenko, despite serious health problems and far from the maximum form, continues to enter the ring or the octagon. Phoenix’s opposition is less and less dangerous with each fight, but this does not help him achieve victories. The last two fights ended in resounding failures. First, he lost to Vyacheslav Datsik by a crushing knockout in a few seconds, and then had a nondescript fight against blogger Svyatoslav Kovalenko, missing everything that could be missed. At the same time, the opponent did not have much fighting training and was 25 kg lighter.

All specialists and experts unanimously repeat: it’s time for Alexander to tie up with mixed martial arts. And they are largely right. Emelianenko completely stopped responding to opponents’ blows to the head. Given his recent health problems, it periodically becomes scary for the future of the athlete.

“I can fight with him with one left”

Alexander doesn’t care. Russian promotions are happy to use his promoted name. Alexander agrees to any options, just to have another fight.

Not all the bruises received in the battle with Kovalenko had time to heal, as he once again made people talk about himself. A video of Phoenix’s reset with the famous actor and Internet hero 61-year-old Nikita Dzhigurda appeared on the network.

The specific prospects for the fight have not yet been reported, but both participants in the battle of views have been declaring their readiness to fight for several years. Two years ago, Dzhigurda challenged Emelianenko to a fight because of his critical statements. The actor was ready to share the ring with a fighter for 50 million rubles.

Alexander also showed interest in the fight. In 2021, when Emelianenko was still far from his current physical form, he offered Dzhigurda a duel on special conditions.

“If Nikita agrees, I can fight with him with one left,” the athlete wrote on social networks.

It is not yet known whether the fight between Emelianenko and Dzhigurda will take place. If this dubious undertaking receives a concrete continuation, then we can safely assume that Alexander has hit the bottom. Although Nikita has little experience in MMA and boxing, these were TV shows and freak fights. Not to mention the fact that Dzhigurda is suitable for Emelianenko as a father.

Wilder made a bold statement ahead of his title fight with Usyk

Former world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg), American Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) shared his expectations for the upcoming fight against WBC, WBA and IBF titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs).

“You know my next opponent. Usyk challenged me to a fight. He said he wanted to meet me in the ring. I accepted the challenge. “I push horses” and “I feel it, I feel it hard.”

What’s my plan? Be smart, be faster, use my agility, be tough, get in the ring and knock him out. I am known for my strength, I need to show it. “I’ve been through a tough journey in my life, but I’m back and ready to beat Usyk,” Wilder said.

The American had 49 fights in the professional ring and won 44 victories (43 of them ahead of schedule). In June, Wilder knocked out his compatriot Tyrell Herndon, ending his two defeats in 2023 and 2024.

Usyk last appeared in the ring in July, when he stopped Briton Daniel Dubois. The Ukrainian became the absolute world champion but lost a title by refusing to defend his WBO belt in October.
