Former ACA heavyweight champion Evgeny Goncharov said that Muhumat Vakhaev’s resistance at the ACA 150 tournament was unexpected for him.

Goncharov’s fight with Vakhaev lasted all three rounds for five minutes, Goncharov won by unanimous decision.

“Everyone has made a huge contribution to my victory. There were two stages. The first stage of preparation is functional, physical training and wrestling. The second month is boxing with Dmitry Kudryashov. For a month I worked in pairs with him in sparring, suffered heavy blows, it was very difficult to box with him. He made me feel like I was growing. He was very well prepared for all rounds. Therefore, in the third round, he added, went for broke and took the fight. Kudryashov’s blow is stronger than Vakhaev’s. After the fight, he and Denis Lebedev said that we had to work, we had to improve.

I was surprised by how Vakhaev held the blow. I thought that I would finish the fight earlier – by knockout in the first or second round, but it didn’t work out. In the third one there was a spurt, hard hits. He swam and stood. I see that he is already getting up with the last of his strength, but does not fall. He showed an unrealistic character. Fought to the end.
