Former Bellator Champion Appreciated the Prospects for Ballet Bullet in the UFC
Russian fighter Sharabutdin Magomedov, known as Shara Bullet, will have good prospects in the UFC if he performs at the same level as in Russia, according to former Bellator welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov.
– If he performs in the UFC in the same way as in Russia, and nothing changes, then he has prospects, and they are great. He is a good striker who shows bright fights. But in the UFC, the level of opposition will be much higher. How Shara will cope with this will already depend purely on him. I wouldn’t say it’s too late to debut in the UFC at 28. It’s a pretty good age. He is already mature and experienced,” Koreshkov told RBC Sport.
It is expected that the Russian will make his debut in the American promotion in May-June 2023. The last two fights in Russia Bullet held under the auspices of the RCC. In August, he knocked out Sergei Martynov, and in December, he defeated Mikhail Ragozin by unanimous decision.
In his professional career, 28-year-old Magomedov had 11 fights, scoring 11 victories.
