Deputy Sports Minister Lefteris Avgenakis expects that the investigation into the circumstances of the fatal injury of 16-year-old boxer Vassilis Topalos will bring results and shed light on all aspects.
European boxing champion Vassilis Topalos, 16, has breathed his last after suffering a recent head injury and Deputy Sport Minister Lefteris Avgenakis has expressed confidence that the investigation into the young athlete’s death will bear fruit.
“Our country’s sports family mourns the loss of young boxing champion Vassilis Topalos. There are many questions, but I am confident that the ongoing investigation will shed ample light on every aspect of the unclear circumstances of his fatal injury. You left it too soon…”hinted Mr. Avgenakis in his post on Twitter.
