Boxer Troyanovsky – about Khabib Nurmagomedov: “A person who has spent his whole life on MMA cannot leave at all”

Russian boxer, former IBF and IBO light welterweight world champion Eduard Troyanovsky believes that Khabib Nurmagomedov will not be able to completely leave the MMA industry, as he devoted his whole life to this.
On Thursday, Nurmagomedov posted a photo with the fighters on a social network, signing: “Take care of yourself brothers. I hope my decision will only benefit, I hugged you all tightly.
“I think he might not leave at all. A person who has spent his whole life on this cannot leave at all. He will still be involved in mixed martial arts – in his promotion or in some other way. He is the face of MMA in Russia. And he just can’t finish. You know, it is very difficult for a person who has given his whole life to this, to get away from this, – Gazeta.Ru quotes Troyanovsky.
Nurmagomedov became UFC lightweight champion in April 2018 and officially retired in March 2021. Under his leadership, Islam Makhachev and Usman Nurmagomedov won the champion titles in the UFC and Bellator lightweight divisions, respectively.
