Russian UFC fighter Irina Alekseeva told MMA.Metaratings.ru that she considers the wife of the head of promotion Dana White to be guilty of their fight with her husband.
Earlier, TMZ published a video in which Dana White is first slapped by his wife, and then beats back several times.
“I think his wife is completely wrong to hit a public person in a public place. This is wrong, she provoked this conflict. It was a mistake on Dana’s part that he could not restrain himself and also hit her, but given his comment, I see no reason to condemn him. He himself realized his mistake. I would have done exactly the same in his place. He is not some kind of left uncle, to beat him like that in public, whether you are a family or not. Dana White commented on the incident, saying that there could be no justification for this act. The couple have been married for more than 25 years, and since 2001 White has headed the UFC promotion, retaining the presidency even after the company moved from the owner of Zuffa to the WME‑IMG holding.

UFC lightweight number one Arman Tsarukyan said that he does not yet consider a potential grappling fight with the promotion’s welterweight champion Islam Makhachev to be realistic.
