Tony Bellew: Fury doesn’t want to fight Usyk
Former world lightweight champion Tony Bellew (30-3-1, 20 KOs) says WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) does not want to fight WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) . . At the same time, it is unlikely that Gypsy King will refuse a duel with former champion Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs).
“There will now be a dialogue between Eddie Hearn, George Warren, Joshua’s team and their managers. Much remains to be clarified, but the path is clear for both warriors. Let’s be completely honest: Tyson Fury doesn’t want to fight Oleksandr Usyk,” Bellew said on The DAZN Boxing Show podcast.
Earlier, Usyk said that the fight against Fury will continue, but not in the near future.
