Boxing: Olympiacos won the championship
The Panhellenic elite boxing championship held in Megalopolis ended with Olympiacos winning the men’s title.
The top of the Panhellenic Elite Championship was won for the fourth year in a row by the Olympiacos men’s boxing team.
The “red gloves” shone at the event in Arcadia, winning first place in four categories while winning five other medals, three silver and two bronze medals.
The “red-whites” also won the Polynian club title at the women’s championship thanks to the achievements of champions Evelina Mavrommati and Konstantina Gidakou.
The eleven medals of Olympiacos in the Panhellenic Elite Championship:
Gold (5): Thanasis Glynos (71kg), Konstantinos Petropoulos (75kg), Dionysis Psychogios (86kg), Panagiotis Kyrimis (92 + kg), Evelina Mavromati (66kg)
Silver (4): Vassilis Makrygiannis (63.5 kg), Veisi Macaws (67 kg), Spyros Pyllis (75 kg), Dina Gidakou (81 kg)
Bronze (2): George Horvalakos (67kg), Lambros Anastasakos (92 + kg)
