Zamkova won the Russian boxing championship for the eighth time

Boxer Andrei Zamkovoi became the champion of Russia in boxing for the eighth time in his career.
The final of the national championship was held in Khabarovsk, in the decisive fight in the weight category up to 71 kg, Zamkovoy defeated Ivan Stupin.
Zamkovoi, 36, is also a two-time Olympic bronze medalist (2012, 2020) and world champion (2019).
The prize fund of the Russian boxing championship among men in Khabarovsk amounted to 26 million rubles. The winners of the tournament received 1.5 million rubles each, silver medalists – 250 thousand rubles each, bronze medalists – 125 thousand rubles each.
