Boxing coach dies while his wife fights
58-year-old boxing trainer Diego Arua suffered cardiac arrest during his wife’s fight and died.
The news of Diego Arua’s death has caused sadness in the world of boxing. The 58-year-old trainer breathed his last while his wife was competing.
Specifically, Sabrina Perez competed against Skye Nicholson in a match in Tijuana. During the ninth round, Diego Arua suffered a heart attack.
Doctors at the scene rushed to his side immediately and he was transported to the hospital within a few minutes. However, this was not enough.
The Argentine coach had breathed his last and despite doctors’ efforts to bring him back, this was not possible.
