former UFC champion Francis Ngannou He told how he reacted to the referee’s decision in the fight against WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 knockouts).

“I believe I won this fight. I’m not surprised by what happened. I knew this was going to happen.

Listen, I’m learning this game. I just moved here from another sport and there’s a structure here, there’s an established business and you come to shake it. Imagine if I walked out of there winning my first fight. What would it look like for them? What would it be like for all the people involved? I knew this wouldn’t happen. But I think it’s a shame for boxing. The judges or whoever should be punished.

I want to understand why these judges decided the way they did. Frankly, for me this decision is not that important, but I think such decisions ruin many people’s careers. This victory could have been the victory on which my career depended. I got in the ring, I was eager to win, I did my job, but it didn’t happen,” Ngannou said.

On October 28, a 10-round fight took place between Tyson Fury and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. Fury earned a hard-fought split decision victory (95-94 Ngannou, 96-93 Fury, 95-94 Fury).
