FURY: “I said fighting Ngannou would be more dangerous than fighting Whisk”
WBC World Super Heavyweight Champion Tyson Rage from Great Britain (33-0-1, 24 KOs) said he was thinking Francis Ngannou future opponent more dangerous than WBA, WBO and IBF super heavyweight champion Alexandra Usika (21-0, 14 knockouts).
“Alexander Usyk is smaller than Francis Ngannou. I always said that fighting him would be much more dangerous than fighting Whisik. Ngannou was a good fighter. No excuse. He’s better than I thought. And he gave me a good fight, a great boxer who knocked me out,” Fury said.
On October 28, a 10-round fight took place between Tyson Fury and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. Fury earned a hard-fought split decision victory (95-94 Ngannou, 96-93 Fury, 95-94 Fury).
