Legendary featherweight fighter Naseem Hamed (36-1, 31 KOs) told Riddick Bowe (43-1, 33 KOs) to his face that he would lose to Lennox Lewis (41-2-1, 32 KOs).

“My friend still wants and can do it. A little shaky, but Riddick is still okay. But I told you I appreciated Lennox. I could put him in any era of boxing and still think he could beat anyone. In any era,” Hamed said.

Unfortunately for fans, Bowe never stepped into the ring professionally with Lennox Lewis. Riddick relinquished his WBC title and threw it away after Lewis was named mandatory challenger.

Lewis defeated Bowe in the 1988 Olympic gold medal match. Lennox competed under the Canadian flag.
