Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Vyacheslav Vasilevsky expects to be able to return to training after injury at the end of the summer.
Vasilevsky was supposed to face compatriot Mikhail Ragozin on May 7 at the Russian Cage Championships (RCC), but pulled out of the fight due to a leg injury.
Everything depends on my recovery. So far, I’m wearing an orthosis, slowly trying to develop my leg. I won’t do the operation. According to my doctor’s forecast, by the end of the summer I will be able to start training. I already had knee injuries, and more than once. I think that nothing like this will happen, we will recover, – Metaratings.ru quotes Vasilevsky.
Vasilevsky is 33 years old. In the last fight in February, he defeated Islam Zhangorazov by unanimous decision.
