Ivan REDKACH: “Haney destroyed Prograis”
Ukraine’s Ivan Redkach shared his opinion on Devin Haney’s victory over former WBC junior heavyweight champion Regis Prograis.
“Haney is great, he played his game, he kept the distance where Prograis couldn’t fight. After the third round, Prograis was emotionally broken and his self-confidence was very high. Prograis “danced” at Haney’s command. During the entire fight, Prograis landed 36 punches, which means 3 punches per round; This means a lot. Haney used his tremendous size and speed advantage to win.
Haney destroyed Prograis and did so beautifully throughout the entire fight. Disciplined boxing, excellent technique, a perfect combination of defense and attack in a high-level fight. Haney’s sense of spacing is absolutely top-notch, and that’s important. It just keeps getting better! I will not hide that I am very happy about Haney’s victory. He beat that bastard cleanly,” Redkach said.
Let us remind you that Devin Haney defeated Regis Prograis by unanimous decision in the main fight of the boxing night that took place on the night of December 10 in San Francisco.
