WILDER on possible fight with Joshua: “Great things are coming”
Former WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder has commented on the news of signing a contract for a fight with former WBA, WBO and IBF champion belt holder British Anthony Joshua, but before that both boxers need to fight against other opponents.
“I can’t estimate the percentage chance of him fighting Joshua, but I know it’s high. I’m just trusting what I’ve heard, but everything is great. For now, we both have to do our job on December 23rd. For him, it’s with Otto Wallin, and for me, it’s with Joseph Parker.”
We need to get our work done and get them out of the way. I’m seriously focused on Parker and I know Joshua is focused on Wallin. When we achieve this, great things will happen. There will be extraordinary events ahead of us. “I can tell the fans to look forward to great news from now on and next year,” Wilder said, as quoted by Boxing News 24.
