Former world champion: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Fury’s team wants to postpone the fight”
former heavyweight champion johnny nelson (45-12-2, 29 KOs), WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight world champion Alexander Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) and WBC belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs). Not sure if it will happen on time.
“If his own father talks about lack of preparation time, I can only say one thing about John Fury: He always tells the truth. He is an outspoken person. If he says so, you should listen to him.
But if Tyson Fury does his best, he will still beat anyone. In his last performance, if he was honest about what he said, his legs couldn’t hold up. If he wasn’t honest, I think he could have fixed things.
But if Fury doesn’t fight on February 17, then we have a problem. Because if his dad talks about it now, it lets you know there might be a delay, they need more time. “I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to take some of their time,” Nelson said.
