Ulanbekov tearfully dedicated his victory at the UFC tournament to Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov
Russian fighter Tagir Ulanbekov defeated American Cody Darden ahead of schedule at the UFC tournament in the USA and dedicated the victory to Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
Ulanbekov won the UFC 296 tournament, which takes place in Las Vegas. The Russian defeated the American by choke. Khabib Nurmagomedov completed his professional career in 2020. He remained undefeated in the Octagon, where he scored 29 victories in 29 fights. Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov died in July 2020.

Absolute world champion in the second lightweight category Naoya Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) commented on the victory of the fight played on Saturday, December 27th.
In Saudi Arabia, the Japanese representative defeated Mexican Alan David Picasso by unanimous decision and defended his WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF titles.

The strongest boxers of our time – Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Japanese Naoya Inoue – We met in the ring of Mohammed Abdo Aren in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on December 27th.
On this day, a boxing night took place, the main event of which was the fight in the weight category up to 55.3 kg. WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF world champion Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) defeated his Mexican opponent Alan David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs).
The fight continued for all 12 rounds and ended with a confident victory for the Japanese “Beast” by unanimous decision.
After the final gong, Usik approached the champion in the ring, congratulated him on his victory and shook hands. Inoue admitted that he was not 100% satisfied with his performance and appreciated the Ukrainian’s place in the ranking of the strongest boxers of our time.
Next year, Usik plans to fight against former American champion Deontay Wilder, and Naoya is considering two options: Junto Nakatani or Jesse Rodriguez.
