Former world champion Charlo detained by police for assaulting a person
Former absolute world junior middleweight champion American Jermell Charlo was arrested by police in his hometown of Texas (USA) on Saturday, December 16.
The 33-year-old boxer was charged with assault, according to Fort Bend County police records, the source said.
At the same time, Jermell Charlo in England allegedly attacked a family member. There is no other information about what happened. It is also known that the boxer was released before.
