Joshua finishes Wallin with confidence and is ready to fight for the title again

On December 23, a major boxing show took place at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.

The main event of the night was the semi-fight between the former world champion. Anthony Joshua (26–3, 23 KOs) from Great Britain and Otto Wallin From Sweden (26–1, 11 KOs).

Anthony Joshua had a huge advantage and won the fight early. In the 5th round.

Anthony hit the target every time by delivering concrete blows to his opponent. Despite Joshua’s significant advantage, Wallin tried to counterattack. But he just had to focus on defense.

In the 5th round, Joshua put his opponent to the test and Otto Wallin barely survived the bell. However, during the break it became clear that Wallin would not be able to continue. The referee stopped the fight with a technical decision.

This is Joshua’s 27th victory and he has expressed that he is ready to fight again for the championships he lost in his previous match with Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian player is looking forward to an absolute super fight against Britain’s Tyson Fury on February 17.

There was tension in the side-main fight in Saudi Arabia. American Deontay Wilder (43–2–1, 42 KOs) lost to New Zealander Joseph Parker (33–3, 23 KOs) via unanimous decision (111–118, 110–118, 108–120). This is Wilder’s third defeat in the professional ring, and his possible fight with Anthony Joshua, scheduled for this spring, may no longer take place.
