Eddie Hearn: ‘2024 will be a big year for Joshua’
Promoter Anthony Joshua spoke about the plans of his ward Anthony Joshua after the early victory over Swede Otto Wallin.
“He’s back, he’s destroying people in training, I think he’s the best heavyweight in the world. It was a perfect shot. He destroyed Wallin.
It was a great performance with that mentality and team, I think he’s great.
2024 will be a big year for Joshua. It was a difficult decision to choose between the championship and Wilder, we signed Wilder, he lost, that’s normal. Maybe this is a blessing.
This man (Joshua – ed.) is a champion but he wants to be a three-time world champion. Wallin came in 2nd place in the rankings. The next fight will be between Hrgovic and AJ for the world title. I was happy to see him smiling and performing so well.
