ANTHONY JOSHUA: ‘I could tear Wilder apart right now’
British heavyweight Anthony Joshua commented on his early victory over Swede Otto Wallin and also talked about his plans. Additionally, Joshua reminded that his potential rival Deontay Wilder lost to New Zealander Joseph Parker.
“I can’t evaluate my game. I’ll leave that to my team.
The return of Joshua’s ex? Just another war. I respect Otto. Not another fight, just another day at the office. Victory by any means necessary. Like Otto, you want to do whatever it takes to win. It’s all I want.
I was looking at the list of heavyweights that were there today. I thought Otto fought Parker, he was going to fight Miller.
Otto is a true warrior. The angle plays a huge role in ensuring his fighters survive to fight another day. I am a skilled fighter and I use my talent. I’m looking for greatness. Ben Davison contributed greatly to my goal. I’m sure you can see that today.
Wilder’s defeat? I didn’t look. I just focused on myself. I know how important this is to me. I heard Deontay was missing. So what? It will be back. I might break it now but I’ll go higher
Look at Dubois tonight, you might come back. Wilder can come back if he wants. I’m sure everyone still wants to see me fight him.
Becoming a three-time champion? It would be great. Every struggle leads to an ultimate goal. Keep praying and working hard. I have to focus because I’m on the road and it’s hard.
We have big goals. “As I told Louis Theroux, we don’t celebrate when we win these fights, we celebrate when we win championships,” Joshua said.
