“Don’t quit boxing.” Anthony Joshua turns to Francis Ngannou after fight in Saudi Arabia

Briton Anthony Joshua turned to Cameroonian fighter Francis Ngannou after a boxing match in Saudi Arabia.

The fight took place in Riyadh and ended with Joshua winning by knockout in the second round. In the first round, the Briton knocked down Ngannou with a right hand to the jaw, but the Cameroonian came to his senses and continued the fight. In the second round, Ngannou was knocked down again, after which Joshua knocked out his opponent.

“Don’t quit boxing, continue,” Joshua said in the ring, turning to Ngannou.

For Ngannou, this was the second fight in professional boxing after his debut last fall in a fight with Tyson Fury. Ngannou previously competed in the UFC and won the heavyweight championship belt.
