An MMA fighter accused of robbery jumped from a balcony and broke his legs while running away from special forces.

Mixed style fighter Alexander Onegov, accused of robbery, jumped from the third floor balcony in an attempt to avoid arrest and broke his legs, reports the Shot Telegram channel.

The incident occurred in Yekaterinburg. As noted by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region, 27-year-old Onegov is suspected of robbery, as well as other crimes.

A few days ago, a fighter stabbed his 34-year-old friend with a knife and took away his phone, 100 thousand rubles and a gold chain. Two special forces groups were dispatched to apprehend the fighter. Onegov jumped from the third floor balcony, where law enforcement officers were waiting for him.

The material states that the athlete may also be involved in forced prostitution. A 20-year-old girl accused him of convincing her to work several shifts, filming everything, after which he began to blackmail and threaten her with violence, extorting money.

It is noted that a criminal case has been opened only under the article “Robbery”; Alexander faces up to eight years in prison. The defendant was arrested and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
