Anthony Joshua: “My goal is to knock Usyk out in the rematch”
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua He shared his expectations from the rematch with the Ukrainian WBA/WBO/IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk.
The Briton is preparing for an early victory.
“The fight with Usyk lasted 12 rounds. That was my game plan because I thought I could compete with him as a boxer. And I think he won two more rounds than me. Thus, he became a champion. Therefore, the goal now is to get back to the roots and win by knockout. When I box, I always feel that the spirit of the opponents is lost. Honestly, when you look into a person’s eyes and watch their body, you can read it and punch fist after fist. Then that person slowly disappears,” said Joshua.
The fight between Joshua and Usyk will be held on July 25.
