Russian wrestler Kabaloev wins silver at BRICS Games, Khomenko takes bronze

Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Vitaly Kabaloev won a silver medal at the BRICS Games in Kazan.
In the fight of the weight category up to 55 kg, he defeated Farid Sadikhli from Azerbaijan. Competitions in this weight were held in a round-robin format. Gold in this weight category was won by Iskhar Kurbaev (Kazakhstan), bronze by Ikhtior Bitirov (Uzbekistan).
Also in the fight for the bronze medal in the weight category up to 97 kg, Russian Nikolai Khomenko won, who defeated Erzat Erlanov from Kazakhstan with a score of 3:0.
