McGregor reveals he broke his toe before his fight with Chandler

Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor told the details of the injury that caused his fight with American Michael Chandler to be cancelled.
McGregor and Chandler were scheduled to meet in the Octagon in the main event of UFC 303 in Las Vegas on June 29.
“We were damn ready for this fight, but we lost focus. I was training without full protective gear and hit my toe on my elbow, breaking my toe,” McGregor, 35, wrote on social media.
He has a 22-6 record in his mixed martial arts career. McGregor’s last fight was in July 2021. Chandler, 38, has won 23 fights and lost eight.
